DESCRIPTION

Based in Truckee California, at the heart of the Sierra Nevada mountains, 5050 Brewing Company is looking for a Tahoe/Reno Sales Manager to power the next phase of our growth. 5050 Brewing was founded in 2007 and currently sells and distributes in 24 states and 14 countries. This role will own sales and support in our backyard - the Lake Tahoe/Reno area. This role will be expected to manage multiple distributor relationships and establish sales forecasts, plans, and budgets and work closely with the Brewery GM, Operations, Marketing, and Finance to deliver market projections and objectives.  If this is you, come help us build a globally recognized beer brand out of Truckee, CA.

 

REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be the quintessential 5050 ambassador promoting our brand and mission wherever you go

  • Work directly with our Production and Marketing Teams to develop quarterly and annual forecasts

  • Develop and execute the processes and systems to execute on a multi-channel strategy

  • Develop and execute against monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals

  • Manage our sales operations to ensure we are consistently growing sales with existing customers as well as adding new customers to grow our total base

  • Support and manage distributor relationships to ensure they are securing new business

  • Create and deliver sales training to distributor partners

  • Lead weekly sales meetings to review sales data, inventory, trends, and production

  • Represent 5050 at industry events and meetings to promote our brand

 

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • You have experience in the Beer, Wine or Spirits industry and have demonstrated the ability to grow a company or department. 

  • You know the local Truckee/Tahoe market - the people, key accounts, and general vibe. 

  • You are a detail-oriented, highly organized, self-starter with a demonstrated ability to exercise accountability and responsibility.

  • You have a general business acumen and the ability to be detail-oriented. 

  • You thrive on structure but can solve problems without it.

  • You are process-driven and can create process and find systems to help a company grow.

  • You are data-driven and comfortable with spreadsheets for planning and analysis 

  • You are a team player who contributes to camaraderie and a pleasant working environment.

  • You have exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills. You’re a people person with the ability to speak in front of groups and conduct training programs.

  • You are outcome-oriented and focus on being productive, not busy.

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • 3 or more years of craft beer sales experience. Experience managing a sales team is a plus.

  • Knowledge of distributor operations and business models.

  • Comfortable with travel (up to 50% of the time as needed)

  • Valid driver's license with active auto insurance, and a clean DMV record is required.

  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs. and move 150 lb. kegs

  • Based in/near Sacramento or Truckee.
