CA/NV Chain Sales Manager - Truckee Craft Ventures

DESCRIPTION

Truckee Craft Ventures is looking for a seasoned sales leader familiar with chain store sales, processes, and people. This role is critical to the growth of our multiple brands in beer and spirits across California, and beyond.  The right candidate will know the ins and outs of the chain store landscape and have deep expertise and relationships across multiple chain stores.  , and the ability to work with our distributor network to drive scale. This role can be based in northern California. Help us build a team, brand, and business with your expertise.

 

REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Call on chains, chain buyers, category set leaders, and other key decision-makers.

  • Growing partnerships with existing national accounts including grocery, specialty liquor, and big box stores. Manage chain leaders and distributors to ensure aligned goals, expanding placements and feature, display activity.

  • Coordinate chain account data collection and analysis in partnership with territory managers and distributor partners

  • Expand SSS (Same Store Sales) as well as POD’s across California, and other key markets.

  • Manage the seasonal sets process across businesses and distributors. Win us expanding placements in the sets.

  • Match the needs of each chain with our existing product lines as best as possible to ensure near-term growth.  and developing a tailored sales pitch

  • Drive our production team, and sales team, with data to help expand our SKU’s and continue a leadership position in the markets. 

  • Benchmark performance against competition and develop opportunities to close gaps where found.

  • Analyze chain volume, share trends, scorecards, performance, and actionable insights.

  • Continuously improve our sales process, collateral, and execution

  • You have a passion for experiences in Craft Beer and/or Craft Spirits.

 

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • Bachelor's degree plus 3 or more years of experience, or 5+ years of experience as the primary responsible sales contact and leader for national and regional chains.

  • You have a deep understanding of Nielsen and IRI data, the latest craft beer and/or spirits trends and can communicate with insight and direction.

  • You have advanced computer skills, specifically PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
